December 2006

Greetings!

Obviously I did not return to this challenge in the 2006 election cycle. While I certainly believe it was regrettable that the GOP lost both the House and Senate, I believe it was ultimately predictable. I ran against Congressman Buyer in 2004, or specifically, I ran against Congressman Buyer's voting record because his voting record was one of Big Government, Big Spending, pro-UN, pro-amnesty for illegal aliens, etc... many of the reasons cited for the disenchantment of the GOP voting base. I believe that a significant portion of our the GOP leadership has embraced much of the platform of the Democrat Party. However, I also believe the American spirit of individual determination and basic freedom is alive and well. At this moment, I do plan to reach out again to my fellow Hoosiers, my fellow Americans!, and ask to be sent as your Representative to the US House.  Whether in 2008 or 2010, I don't yet know.

With warmest regards,

Greetings all!

I want to thank all those who helped bring our little challenger campaign to life! Many poured their hearts into the effort and I am humbled and grateful beyond words for that sacrifice! And special thanks to my family for their support and patience!

And to the 8,000 plus fellow Hoosiers who heard our message and cast their votes for a return to the principles that made us One Nation Under God, a Blessed nation unto greatness, I and the whole Paasch for Congress team THANK YOU!!!

I’ve received a startling number of e-mail and a few phone calls asking me to run again in '06. Right now is too soon to make that decision. But thank you for the encouragement!

May God bless us and our nation, our land of the free and the brave!

With warmest regards,
